"P&G empowers me to show up authentically every day."
I walked into the office on my first day humbled by the opportunity to work for P&G - a company I view as the ‘holy grail’ of consumer marketing strategy. My manager leveraged my seven years of international brand marketing experience from Day 1 when he asked me to develop social media branding solutions that I suggested in the interview process.
Representing constructive disruption from Day 1, I was asked to design a new product launch strategy for Pantene. I reinvented the Pantene brand marketing strategy locally, allocating more marketing spend to community-driven and socially responsible events. Taking action in my own community and expanding Pantene’s brand awareness is deeply gratifying.
As a Senior Brand Manager and a Black Jamaican immigrant, I am keenly aware of what I want my professional legacy to be. At P&G I have the freedom to be completely myself at work. My unique perspectives and background are celebrated. In team meetings and strategy sessions, I’ve witnessed how our collective differences lead to greater insights and better solutions for consumers.
P&G is like no other company I’ve worked for. The irresistible superiority of our products in the market is rivaled only by our ability to develop world-class leaders. The global and inclusive culture at P&G empowers authentic leadership at all levels. I get to see my legacy in action every time I walk by the hair care aisle at my local supermarket.
