“Great plans start from small ideas.”
Natália Azeredo Soares - Pricing & Deodorant FP&A Department Manager
I decided to join P&G for the opportunity to work for a strong multinational organization with products known by most of the people in the word. I started my carrier in Plant Finance, moved to Warehouse Finance, and now am accountable for all pricing and Deodorant financials for Brazil.
During my first interview with the management team, I noticed that P&G is interested in a candidate’s profile, rather than a specific degree or major. In my case, I graduated with a degree in Bioprocess Engineering, and was hired on Finance team. On my first assignment as an intern, I was accountable for reconciling and reporting the whole Manufacturing Operation Cost to the plant management team. It may seem easy nowadays, but on that moment it was very challenging for me in term of dealing with responsibilities and with people.
On my first 1:1 with my Finance Director, I expressed interest in moving to São Paulo. Within a few months, I moved from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo to start my current role. P&G provides the flexibility for individuals to define what is most interesting to you at different moments, in terms of both your personal and professional life.
P&G is a company that values people - their diversity, opinions and choices. I feel proud of our products, knowing we make them by always “doing the right thing”, no matter what everybody else is doing. I believe that great plans start from small ideas, and I am encouraged to keep raising the bar every day.
