Before joining P&G, I had worked at another CPG company for 4 years. When I made the move to P&G, I was prepared for a number of challenges – acclimatizing to a new environment, mastering a new job, and building a support network in a new culture. However, I quickly learned that P&G would make my transition a smooth one. From Day 1, P&G made me feel valued, and provided comprehensive training and onboarding – while acknowledging the external experience I was bringing to the company. My managers and colleagues played a pivotal role in providing me with one of the best onboarding experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone made me feel welcomed, and helped me to quickly integrate with the team and company. My colleagues also had a genuine interest in learning about the experience and expertise I was bringing to the team. As an experienced hire, it has been a seamless cultural integration for me, with the PVPs at the core of the way P&G conducts its business.
In my role as a Category Development manager, Baby Care, I am responsible for crafting and presenting winning strategies to grow my category at my retailer’s. My experience so far has been exciting and I was able to hit the ground running when I joined. Immediately, I was exposed to assortment and shelf analytics which has been instrumental in delivering shelving and distribution fundamentals at my retailer’s. I am continuing to grow and develop as an analytics expert. The level of P&G’s investment in my development has been unprecedented.
