“You are the driver of your career at P&G.”
Kelsey Murdoch - Supply Chain Leader
I picked P&G because I knew it was a place where I could learn and grow on Day 1, on Day 1,001 and Day 10,001. On my first day at P&G, my manager told me that he had recruited me for a reason: that I was going to learn a lot and work hard, and that he would be there to support me every step of the way. From Day 1 I owned a supply chain for one of our former Prestige external manufacturing sites. I was responsible for launching Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana and Hugo Boss gift set initiatives. I owned the yearly budget planning process as well as service, inventory and quality results. I used all aspects of my engineering and MBA degrees in my first role at P&G.
My first day at P&G ultimately gave me confidence – confidence that I made the right choice to start my career at P&G, confidence I was going to learn and grow at the company, and confidence that I had my managers’ and teams’ support throughout.
From that first day, I was doing things that matter to me personally, as well as things that matter for our customers and consumers. The Purpose, Value and Principles (PVPs) at P&G attracted me to the company as an intern in college and they still attract me to the company today. In my current role, I lead the end-to-end supply chain for one of our top grocery customers. I partner with Sales to ship the P&G products our customers want on time, every time.
P&G most recently encouraged me to learn and grow as I moved to Boston, MA. I was born and raised in the Midwest so this was a big move for me both personally and professionally. You are the driver of your career at P&G, and I’m in the fast lane.
