From Day 1, I had the opportunity to lead a large and very consumer sensitive product performance improvement. I identified the performance failure mechanism and recommended several design change solutions that were qualified with consumers. Ultimately the product changed was launched in to the market and the consumer satisfaction consistently rose as the new designed moved into retail stores. To achieve these successful results, I partnered with a team of experts, defined the objective and built a wealth of technical and consumer data that clearly supported the recommendation of which product design option to proceed with. Teamwork, clear objectives and solid data made this project a success!
In addition to the work, the people here are amazing! I don’t think that I will ever be able to say that enough times. P&G is truly like a huge family where everyone that I have encountered no matter the level has wanted me to succeed and offer any help form technical advice and career planning tips to recommending new people for me to meet to ensure my professional network is strong. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to work with a manager that has always had my best interest at heart to ensure that I am challenged in projects on my workplan and have a healthy work-life balance. My manager has directly asked what my interests are and partnered with me to understand what skills I am looking to build to determine what project fits the skillset I would like to develop.
Everyday has been a new challenge at P&G. There is always something new to learn and always a new way to strengthen your skillset. Coming to work each day and understanding that my work impacts the lives of my consumers everyday motivates me to work to deliver the best innovation possible. Each day is also an opportunity to share what I have learned along my journey here with someone else, which strengthens to P&G family.
