  • Starting date of summer internships is July 1, 2024 and duration is 3 months, ending September 30, 2024

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES DURING FINANCE INTERNSHIP

Your work will be meaningful straight out of school as during the program, you will contribute to our business development and decision-making process, gaining exposure to current business challenges  like fast-growing channels (discounters, e-commerce) and customer reality. You will be given an independent project and be responsible for it's  success. The areas you might work on are diverse and may include the following:

  • Analyzing the market landscape to refine business strategies

  • Collaborating on new product launches/initiatives, assessing the financial impacts together with the brand management and sales team

  • Guiding partners through financially optimized plans

  • Exploring business opportunities in fast-growing channels (E-commerce, Discounters)

  • Improving cost competitiveness in manufacturing activities


Throughout internship, you will be:

  • Finance leader and business partner providing finance insights and actionable recommendations in business decisions, taking part in external and internal multifunctional team interactions with a real impact on the direction of the business.

  • Problem solver with in-depth business and market dynamics understanding, able to analyze data, identify key insights and provide financial competence to the business.

  • Project manager and risk taker able to take ownership of big, meaningful projects from Day 1 to transform and streamline the business including local and regional operations.

You’ll expand your knowledge based on personal experiences with industry experts and great managers who will invest in your development. Through the program, you’ll gain hands-on experience, and develop your understanding of what it means to be a leader. All of that as part of a team in which trust, team spirit, passion for winning and leadership are very important.

WHAT WE OFFER?

  • Full time internship for 3 months on employment contract

  • Chance to receive a direct opportunity for Finance Traineeship role in duration of 9-12 months immediately or within 12 months of successful completion of the Internship

Qualifications

THIS IS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY IF YOU:

  • Are a student of final years of studies (3th - 5th year) or fresh graduate (up to 12 months after graduation) of all faculties

  • Have interest, passion and motivation for a career in Finance

  • Arefluent in Czech and/or Slovak and English (written and spoken)

  • Are available to work min. 32 hours/week

  • Have excellent MS Office skills (MS Excel specifically)

  • Have strong leadership and strategic analysis thinking skills

  • You demonstrate excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Have excellent collaboration skills and ability work effectively with diverse groups of people

  • Have time management skills to deliver your work and make even the biggest goals achievable

  • You are skilled to make complex decisions using all the data available but confident to use your gut feeling and instinct

  • No experience is required, however initial understanding and exposure gathered via engagement in e.g. student organizations, volunteering, internships, education, courses etc. or very strong interest in finance will be considered as an advantage
