Job Description
P&G is Looking for a Platform Manager who can own and deliver Enterprise Information ‘Application Development’ and day-to-day Operations on Open Text Cloud Platform.
One of the key use cases is to
SAP Data
- Extract Retention Class Data
- From SAP systems (Online Tables and Archived ADK data using Sigma Extractors)
- From Non-SAP system Data Bases
- Store Extracted Data.
- Ingest and Index Data.
- Build Reports that can deliver SAP T Code like Outputs (Standard T Codes, Custom Reports and Table Views)
Role Responsibilities:
Application Development and Deployment
- Hands-On skills to Build and Deliver applications in Open Text which pre-dominantly handle SAP data (Both Online and ADK data).
- Understand Business requirement and convert that into technical design and build and deliver applications.
- Usage of Sigma Or equivalent Extractors to extract ADK files from SAP to Info Archive.
Operations
Data :
- Ensure Enterprise Data is destroyed as per Corporate Retention Policy.
- Ensure Legal Hold and Blocking ability is exercised on Retention class data.
- Publish Monthly score card on Enterprise data destruction and associated Key Process Indicators
Platform :
- Ensuring availability and performance of the platforms meet or exceed approved Quality of Platform and Availability metrics.
- Leading and delivering improvements to key platform processes: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Information Lifecycle Management, Capacity and Performance Management, and Release Management.
- Owning and running the platform’s tools for Data Volume Management and User Query Adoption Reports.
- Coordinating with multiple P&G platform partners and service lines for platform maintenance needs.
- Collaborating closely with vendors and hold them accountable as per existing contractual obligations via periodic SDRs and deliver accurate performance feedback.
- Handling infrastructure and service budgets while adhering to P&G financial policies.
- Ensuring stewardship and compliance of all platform processes with P&G policies and standard methodologies.
- Evolving into a technical SME capable of handling L3 responsibilities for Platform issues.
Qualifications
Role Requirements:
Technical
- 3+ Yrs. experience in Application Build in Open Text, report building for SAP Like T Code
- 1+ Year in extracting SAP data (ADK + Online) Ingestion and Indexing
- At least 1 Year experience in Open Text Platform Management
Platform management
- Experience with operations management, application management, and vendor management.
- Good communication skills and ability to respectfully negotiate with platform stakeholders for platform maintenance topics.
- Good project management skills and the ability/willingness to learn to run large scale upgrade initiatives that involve multiple vendors, application groups and service lines.
- Exposure to SAP Archiving using ADK will be a Plus.
Job Skills
- Expertise in Open Text ‘application building’ and Report/ View creation, SAP Data Extraction to Open Text, Ingestion, Indexing.
