DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)
We are looking for someone who is diverse with virtualization technology and hardware. We are looking for an individual who wants to be challenged in building scalable solutions that will assist our customers in being agile and focused on running the business. As an IT Senior Engineer you will have the opportunity to learn and grow about this challenging platform. The ability to conceptualize and understand abstract ideas is a must. Additionally, good research and technical writing skills will be very helpful. Getting your hands dirty is a must.
Qualifications
Experience with linux OS / Kubernetes / containers / microservices environment
Strong experience with VMware vSphere and related technologies, including ESXi, vCenter
Server, vSAN, and vRealize Suite.
Proficiency in infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with relevant tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and tooling purposes.
Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, including system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), or Splunk.
Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, load balancing, and security protocols.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues in a vSphere environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
