Application Manager: SAP FI Consultant (Banking)
Overview of the job
Be part of P&G’s Banking Application Management team responsible for maintaining and deploying Banking solutions for the company. This includes connecting our Enterprise Resource Planning system to the bank to enable Host-to-Host communications for our payment files and bank statements. Moreover, lead projects and initiatives to ensure compliance to government or internal policies and boost operational efficiency.
Your team
This role reports to a Senior Banking Application Manager located in Manila, Philippines but will be part of the Global Banking Application Management team with colleagues from the US, UK, and Costa Rica.
How success looks like
- You have an intimate knowledge on SAP FI/FSCM module and can leverage this to provide consult to projects and deliver banking solutions.
- You have the ability to work on projects as an IT Lead independently; managing vendors and P&G colleagues alike.
- Applications you own are compliant with internal and external IT Policies and Standards.
- You are continuously upskilling to stay updated with new technologies
Responsibilities of the role
- Lead Banking IT projects and coordinate with the project or service manager to deliver the requirements.
- Ensure banking solutions remain compliant with ever-changing IT Policies and Standards within and outside P&G.
- Manage third-party vendors to aid in project or continuous improvement completion.
- Translate business requirements to technical requirements for the developers reference.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and lead team consistently.
- Coach and mentor banking developers and associates on business acumen and technical capabilities.
Qualifications
Role Requirements
- Graduates with Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field such as Engineering, Information Technology and Computer Science field.
- Demonstrates a balance of business understanding and technical skills. Willing to work with the technology hands-on if needed.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence others to take action by dissecting sophisticated technical concepts into digestible ideas appropriate for the audience.
- Ability to engage with senior leaders on technology decision discussions related to business value and the end-to-end IT lifecycle.
- Exhibits a passion for IT, technology and innovation, continually takes initiative to update and improve one’s own skills to stay relevant as IT evolves.
- Understands the core project management subject area, and is able to lead and implement one or multiple projects at a time with operational excellence.
- Must be willing to travel to other countries, collaborate with people from different cultures, and work with teams from different time zones.
- With a minimum of 3 years’ experience in SAP FI or FSCM modules.
