WHAT IS P&G DESIGN LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?We are looking for a great portfolio that demonstrates your mastery and we will ask you to give us examples from your past experiences that will help us understand how you might approach future work at P&G. THE PURPOSE OF THE INTERVIEW IS THREE-FOLD:
Our interviews have been customized to predict the likelihood of a successful fit between you and P&G - we want to ensure your success if you join us. WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS CAN I EXPECT?During the interview,you will be asked a series of standardized questions about your past experiences, for example:
P&G interviewers will be looking for a complete response from you to best understand your past behavior and thought process. To provide a comprehensive answer, be sure to include the following three elements in response to each question asked. Context Provide the interviewer with enough background information so that they can understand the situation. In the questions related to your thought process, the context will be provided to you in the form of a hypothetical situation. |
Actions: Be sure to inform the interviewer of all the relevant actions that you took or would take in the situation. Help the interviewer to understand WHY you acted or would behave in a certain way. If you are referring to a group project, remember to talk about what you uniquely did within the team. Results: Let the interviewer know what results came Our interviewers prepare for your interview by reviewing your portfolio and resume ahead of time. In the interview you should be prepared to talk about your past experiences by referencing work in your portfolio, information on your resume or both. WHERE AND HOW WILL MY FIRST INTERVIEW BE HELD?Your first interview will be held over the phone, in a P&G office or on a college campus. Your interview may be with a single P&G person or with a panel of Most Design interviews last around 60 minutes, but there are no strict time limits. During this time, you can learn more about P&G by allowing us to answer any questions you may have. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE INTERVIEW?In the weeks after the interview, you'll learn if we have made the decision to move forward in our selection process. We know that this is an important time for you so we act as quickly as we can. |
