P&G facilitates your search via TalentBrew, a job matching tool developed by TMP Worldwide. TalentBrew uses the LinkedIn application to extract job relevant information from a user’s LinkedIn profile (name, email, city, experience, education, skills & endorsements, recommendations, accomplishments and interests). P&G processes your data pursuant to its Candidate Privacy Notice.

We use that information to run an automated keyword-based comparison against P&G’s job descriptions and then present our available roles sorted by order of relevancy to your qualifications. The encrypted user data is only cached within our servers for 24 hours to save time for returning users. We do not access, process or store this information except to provide the job matching service

WHAT IS P&G DESIGN LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE?

We are looking for a great portfolio that demonstrates your mastery and we will ask you to give us examples from your past experiences that will help us understand how you might approach future work at P&G.

THE PURPOSE OF THE INTERVIEW IS THREE-FOLD:

  • To learn more about you on a personal level.
  • To gain insight into your job-related capabilities.
  • To allow you to ask us questions you may have about working at P&G.

Our interviews have been customized to predict the likelihood of a successful fit between you and P&G - we want to ensure your success if you join us.

WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS CAN I EXPECT?

During the interview,you will be asked a series of standardized questions about your past experiences, for example:

  • Tell me about a time when you worked with others.
  • Give an example of a time when you created something new.
  • You will also be asked questions about your thought­process in work-related situations, for example:
  • If you were given a difficult project, how would you ensure its success?
  • What would you do if you had a conflict with a team member?
HOW TO GIVE COMPLETE ANSWERS TO OUR QUESTIONS.
  • Context - Provide the background. Describe the situation.
  • Actions - What did you do?
  • Results - What was the outcome of the actions you took?

P&G interviewers will be looking for a complete response from you to best understand your past behavior and thought process. To provide a comprehensive answer, be sure to include the following three elements in response to each question asked.

Context

Provide the interviewer with enough back­ground information so that they can understand the situation. In the questions related to your thought process, the context will be provided to you in the form of a hypothetical situation.

Actions:

Be sure to inform the interviewer of all the relevant actions that you took or would take in the situation. Help the interviewer to understand WHY you acted or would behave in a certain way. If you are referring to a group project, remember to talk about what you uniquely did within the team.

Results:

Let the interviewer know what results came
from your actions and how impactful they were. In questions related to your thought process, make sure that the interviewer understands what results would come and why.
Think about examples from all aspects of your life
In the interview, we are looking for the best example you have that answers the interview question - no matter where it comes from. While school and work experiences provide great examples of past work ­related behavior, you should also feel free to use examples from other aspects of your life- such as volunteer activities, clubs, organizations etc. In addition, since we know that you may not have had
a chance to experience certain situations, we will ask questions about what you would do in a work ­related situation.

YOUR RESUME AND PORTFOLIO.

Our interviewers prepare for your interview by reviewing your portfolio and resume ahead of time. In the interview you should be prepared to talk about your past experiences by referencing work in your portfolio, information on your resume or both.

WHERE AND HOW WILL MY FIRST INTERVIEW BE HELD?

Your first interview will be held over the phone, in a P&G office or on a college campus. Your interview may be with a single P&G person or with a panel of
2 to 3 P&G people.

HOW LONG WILL MY INTERVIEW LAST?

Most Design interviews last around 60 minutes, but there are no strict time limits. During this time, you can learn more about P&G by allowing us to answer any questions you may have.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE INTERVIEW?

In the weeks after the interview, you'll learn if we have made the decision to move forward in our selection process. We know that this is an important time for you so we act as quickly as we can.
