P&G facilitates your search via TalentBrew, a job matching tool developed by TMP Worldwide. TalentBrew uses the LinkedIn application to extract job relevant information from a user’s LinkedIn profile (name, email, city, experience, education, skills & endorsements, recommendations, accomplishments and interests). P&G processes your data pursuant to its Candidate Privacy Notice.

We use that information to run an automated keyword-based comparison against P&G’s job descriptions and then present our available roles sorted by order of relevancy to your qualifications. The encrypted user data is only cached within our servers for 24 hours to save time for returning users. We do not access, process or store this information except to provide the job matching service

Yuji Hamada

Shiga Plant Site Engineering Project Manager/Technical Engineer

Former Product Supply Intern, 2018, Japan

Please give a short description of the project you managed as an intern.

I tackled a loss elimination project. Operators had to make many round trips between warehouses and packing lines. I found the root cause of the big transfer loss and submitted recommendations to the Plant Manager.

Describe the P&G culture you were immersed in. What was your favorite part about working in this environment?

I really liked the culture which enabled me to grow fast. In the internship, I had to understand the current operation process, gather necessary information, build hypothesis, and verify them all by myself. Of course, I, just an intern, was not capable enough at first. However, many people were willing to help me. I was able to challenge the difficult problem with high motivation, which finally made me extremely strong.

How has P&G helped you develop desired skills or achieve your professional goals?

I could take many trainings such as how to identify top loss in operational processes, develop presentation skills, learn about option analysis processes, and so on. I think the important thing to consider when searching for appropriate training is to identify, by yourself or with your manager, what skills you need for your assignment. Once you can identify your help needed, P&G will be able to help you.
