P&G facilitates your search via TalentBrew, a job matching tool developed by TMP Worldwide. TalentBrew uses the LinkedIn application to extract job relevant information from a user’s LinkedIn profile (name, email, city, experience, education, skills & endorsements, recommendations, accomplishments and interests). P&G processes your data pursuant to its Candidate Privacy Notice.

We use that information to run an automated keyword-based comparison against P&G’s job descriptions and then present our available roles sorted by order of relevancy to your qualifications. The encrypted user data is only cached within our servers for 24 hours to save time for returning users. We do not access, process or store this information except to provide the job matching service

Sam Razon

Senior Brand Manager for Safeguard Philippines

Former Brand Management Intern, 2016, Philippines

What was your project and how did you feel about it?

I worked on a project to qualify a strategy for Safeguard Philippines. There was a new product that we wanted to launch in the market and it was my job to set the strategy on how you execute it in the market and qualify this so that we can execute it in the years to come. I never expected that they would give that kind of a heavy project to an intern. I felt very nervous about it because people who were a lot older than me and who were a lot more experienced were relying on me to develop new ideas. It was frightening, but it was the best thing that I took a chance on.

What support did you receive to accomplish your project?

P&G would give you a manager and a buddy when you’re new. Your manager is the one who will guide you in doing the project, while your buddy is the one who does it day-to-day. You also get a lot of support from the multi-functional team. I was able to work with Sales, Finance, and Product Supply. It was the whole community of the Safeguard team back then who helped me with the internship project throughout.

What was the most memorable moment in your internship?

The most memorable moment for me during the internship was actually seeing the project come to life. There’s a Filipino term that we call “kilig” which means giddy, excited, flattered, and it was honestly one of the best feelings to see one of the strategies and projects that you proposed come to life. It honestly showed how P&G values your opinion and means it when they say they’ll give you an actual project to work on.

What was your favorite thing about your internship?

My favorite thing about the internship was I really got to learn a lot of things. It’s not your usual textbook knowledge that you learn in University. You learn a lot of things about the real world, you learn a lot of things about yourself , and what’s great is you’re actually surrounded by a bunch of brilliant people who just forces you to become the better version of you each day.
