Master Data Services
In Master Data IT, we work very closely with our business partners from multiple domains like Research & Development, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing to design, deliver and support IT processes powered by digital solutions. It is critical to flow P&G products to the market. In this space we are touching product master data in each life cycle stage ensuring that required product attributes are maintained on time and with quality. It starts from very basic data like product code or weight, but we also provide solutions to maintain pricing or such specific and sophisticated attributes, like temperature control. Just imagine product with incorrect or missing weight & dimension – how can it fit to box or to shelf in the supermarket? Or what if set incorrect price in our system – how can we deliver it to Consumer? Therefore, Master Data space is so vital to ensure P&G can produce, ship and delight our Consumers. All this is supported by modern technologies and platforms which we are leveraging to drive automation, speed, and quality.
Our Projects
Mozart transformation
Product master data covers extremely broad scope and requires maintenance multiple different product attributes across different systems of record. Product attributes – ID, name, size, image “describes” the product for customers and create a digital twin that lives in the digital world. The main goals of the project were cycle time reduction and legacy tools elimination after automation. There are several groups identified as a targeted audience – market planning leaders, market sales leaders, master data administrators, trade price administrators and IT business process operations team. With “Mozart” transformation we tackled orchestration and automation of majority of the product attributes to make product ready for shipping, billing and data publication to the customers. Due to rapid growth of eCommerce, the importance of quality master data is crucial. P&G simplified and streamlined product master data creation to ensure timely and quality data readiness that increased productivity.
