P&G facilitates your search via TalentBrew, a job matching tool developed by TMP Worldwide. TalentBrew uses the LinkedIn application to extract job relevant information from a user’s LinkedIn profile (name, email, city, experience, education, skills & endorsements, recommendations, accomplishments and interests). P&G processes your data pursuant to its Candidate Privacy Notice.

We use that information to run an automated keyword-based comparison against P&G’s job descriptions and then present our available roles sorted by order of relevancy to your qualifications. The encrypted user data is only cached within our servers for 24 hours to save time for returning users. We do not access, process or store this information except to provide the job matching service

Tell us about your background? "I studied Product Design Engineering at Brunel University London, this is a mechanical based degree that focuses on materials, manufacturing process and bringing products to market."

What attracted you to P&G? "The outstanding reputation of P&G and their massive product range was most attractive. Their benefits, like being able to train abroad, were also very attractive to me. On top the experience of working at P&G to add to my CV was an opportunity not to be missed out on."

Tell us about your team. What’s special about them?  "The team out on the packing floor are great as they are always happy to help you and explain work processes a number of times until you fully understand. Their years of knowledge and friendliness makes them fantastic to learn from as a new starter.

The leadership team in the office is very motivated and inspiring to push for me to produce my best work whilst still being friendly and helpful enough to take time out of their day to help you with any questions. All of the team are really professional but easy to get along with and all want to achieve the same goals."

Tell us what a typical day looks like?  "A typical morning for myself start with being in the office for about 7am. I am looking through the data from the previous day and noting down everything from safety to outages and PR statistics. This is then all communicated in the morning line DDS at 7:45 including the operator for that shift. Actions for the day are handed out to everyone and clear targets set. At 8:45 the department DDS takes place and all statistics for my line are fed back to the manager and the top losses for the day examined. From 9:30-12 I am on the shop floor with the shift learning about the line and completing any priority actions before my lunch at 12. The afternoon is spent working on longer term actions and having some meetings or training before the end of the day."
