I felt challenged and scared but at the same time proud that so many professionals were believing in me and my potential. As of Day 1 I started to absorb a massive amount of knowledge about the market, distribution’s channels and P&G categories and products, but also I received a series of trainings on sales skills and concepts. Having experienced and very friendly colleagues around me was as well priceless! They were always there to help, advise, teach and train me so I was never left alone.
The more I was learning and the more experience I was gathering, the bigger responsibilities and challenges I was receiving. Suddenly after only four years in Sales I found myself managing business of laundry worth millions of dollars, cooperating with the biggest retailers on the market. I had a tangible impact on positive business results through aligning and implementing sales strategies, co-creating joint business plan and building superior relationship with the customer that all turned into categories’ value growth.
Since Day 1 in P&G I’ve been meeting excellent co-workers, sharing similar values and work ethics with Doing-The-Right-Thing mentality. Many of them have become dear friends. The ambience and working environment are in every moment accompanied by respect, diversity and inclusion, which makes everybody feel valued and important. Moreover as a global company, P&G offers many opportunities for international experience, of which I have been a grateful beneficent, being able to work on different continents (Mexico and Poland) and willing to continue with my professional growth!
